Confessed Hypocrite
Although I completely disapprove of that bill that gives tax payers more money back, I will admit that the $600 just saved my ass. A pleasant surprise to my bank account. But I still hate George Bush and the powers (democrats and republicans) that let such blinding stupidity proliferate in our government.

Hear, hear. The thing is, I hate George W., too. However, I'm tired of being screwed financially every which way, and having no compensation whatsoever. The price of gas? Yeah, it's a tired subject, however, I'm still watching my bank account deplete as certain so and so's laugh and are building their third home somewhere; complete with real granite countertops and marble flooring. Bastards. And guess what? Have we seen any pay increase at all? Where's that "trickle down" benefit that was all the rage in the 80's? Guess what? That was a lie, too. So yes, I'm a definite hypocrite...but I'm also THIS close to selling myself, just to be able to go on a road trip now and then. I can hate Bush AND feel okay about spending this money that will be taken from me by some new and "needed" tax.
